Do any of your states have, or are aware of, any training programs, courses, or other resources geared toward, or available to, commissioners/supervisors that cover the prevention of, response to, or recognition of harassment (sexual or otherwise)? Thanks!
Tyler BrownIn South Carolina, we have a state “Human Affairs Commission” that provides this type of training (for a fee of course). We send our districts directly there but not necessarily coordinated through us.
Here is the human affairs commission website: https://schac.sc.gov/
Let me know if you need anything further!
Mark BostromWe publish a model personnel policy for districts. They can adopt all or parts of it. We have started a supervisor training and discussed strengthening this topic within the training.
