Is your state receiving TSP funds from NRCS and what kind of a match, if any, are you required to have?

In Utah, NRCS has contracted with the state association for some TSP work at 50% match requirement. We also have seven Conservation Districts that have current contracts with NRCS at a 25% required match with the understanding that CD’s would look for ways to increase match in the future.

Oklahoma has had a contributions agreement since 2003. Our TSP agreement has a 50% match requirement.

To the best of my knowledge Wyoming does not receive TSP funding from NRCS.

No, we do not receive any TSP funding directly from the NRCS.

In Iowa we received funding from NRCS in the past that was required to matched dollar for dollar. This year we did not receive funding.

Yes, the current match is 50 % and has varied up to 65 %.

Mel, we do receive TSP funding. It is matched 50/50. All TSP funding goes to Districts. We match with a pool of funding at the state level so each district does not have to match.

Kansas has multiple partnership agreements with NRCS. There are multiple types of agreements; Cooperative, Contribution and Technical Service Provider agreements for everything from Soil Conservation Technicians to engineering design. The Contribution Agreements require 50/50 match. The TSP for third party engineering does not have the same requirements.

In Washington State requirement of 50% match, but trying to display ‘hardship’ to 40% match.

SC-DNR has a contribution agreement that is a 50% match and we have a few districts who have a similar agremement with NRCS, also at the 50% match.

In GA we match TSP funds dollar for dollar.

Florida receives some TSP funds for several contribution agreements that help fund two technicians and several Mobile Irrigation Labs. The technician agreements are funded at 50% share, and the MILs at 33% share. I believe funds are provided to other agencies as well.
