Looking for names and contact information for state conservation foundations formed or somehow associated with your state association of conservation districts.
Kendall TyreeOur Virginia Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts does have a Foundation arm (VASWCD Educational Foundation) which was established in 1990 to provide and promote leadership in the conservation of natural resources. It handles all programs such as our Youth Conservation Camp, Envirothon, workshops/trainings, etc. While our VASWCD is a 501c5 our VASWCD Edu Foundation is a 501c3. Happy to chat more about our arrangement if it would be of help.

Mike ThrallsAlthough it has been discussed from time to time, the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts does not have a foundation associated with it. However, several individual conservation districts do have foundations.
