Do any states have an NMP template for free range poultry producers?

Not for certain, but I wonder about Maryland.

Stephanie MartinVirginia has a Nutrient Management Certification Program for NM Planners.
In Virginia, the approach to writing a plan for this operation would not be any different than any other animal operation. We would treat the area the chickens “graze” as pasture. If any manure is collected and spread on fields, I would get a manure analysis of the material and apply it based on soil test recommendations. Any other nutrient needs shown by soil tests would be met with fertilizer or other organic nutrient sources.
Contact person in Virginia for NMP is Dave Kindig – David.Knidig@dcr.virginia.gov
