I have a state looking for Conservation District Board Member Handbooks that have been developed in the last 5 years. If any members have any handbooks they’d like to share, please email them to me.

Oregon updated our Guidebook in 2013 and made corrections/edits earlier this year. We wanted the SWCD Board Directors and staff to have enough information to answer basic questions, but to contact us &/or have links to resources for more complicated situations. Virginia has had a Directors Handbook since 1995. I have attached the 2012 version. We are currently updating in preparation for Director Orientation Sessions based on the November elections. The Handbook is not currently available on the Agency Website. I will email a copy to Ray.
