Conservation Partnership Honors Olin Sims
Living Legacy Tree Planting

Conservation leaders from around the country met in Washington, D.C. for a quarterly partnership meeting on November 7. The meeting included a special opportunity to honor former NACD President Olin Sims with a tree planting at the National Arboretum. The U.S. Forest Service donated an American Chestnut tree for the planting and over 40 friends of Olin Sims and representatives from NACD, USDA, NRCS, USFS, NCDEA, NASCA and NARC&DC participated in the ceremony. The tree planting is part of the Living Legacy program which has planted trees all over the country in memory of Olin's dedication to the work of conservation.
