Relevant information for the afternoon tours on Monday, September 8:

Buses will pick up the group at the Grouse Mountain Lodge at 12 noon and take us to the Great Northern Whitewater Raft and Resort  sight. We’ll have lunch there and then the group will split with rafters heading to the river and bus tour folks to the Park.

For the float trip: The water is holding up well and it looks like it will be a great tour. It should be considered a scenic tour with occasional mild rapids. The rafting company provides splash gear, but there is a possibility that people will still get a little wet. As for footwear, no flip-flops are allowed . Tennis shoes, sandals with back straps and Crocs with back straps are okay. Water booties can be rented for $2.50. Folks should plan on getting your feet wet. If you are bringing a camera make sure it is waterproof. Rafters may want to bring a change of clothes along so they are comfortable for the evening supper.

For the bus tour: The bus tour is a scenic wonder. People will want to have a camera and maybe a pair of binoculars. There will be stops where you can get out and look around. Up on top it may be a little cool and breezy so a light jacket and or sweater might be a good idea.

After the tours folks will be brought back to the rafting company sight for supper. After supper, buses will take the group back to the Grouse.
